My mother and I stayed in the St. Croix Suit for a mother daughter trip. Our entire stay was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The check in and out process was very easy and clear due to the helpful information provided ahead of time. The house and our room was immaculate and perfectly decorated and equipped with anything we might need. I felt like I was stepping back in time to stay in a room at Downton Abbey but with all the modern necessities for an easy comfortable stay. Although the Aurora Staples Inn wasn’t providing breakfast during our stay, we received a gift card for the Lowell Inn for a complementary breakfast instead. This was located just down the road within walking distance in nice weather, and it was a lovely breakfast and location as well. Overall wonderful experience I would highly recommend! Hopefully I will get the chance to come back again in the future.

All the little extras that they went above and beyond to insure a very lovely stay. Salted carmels and chocolate a very sweet touch! We stayed in the Carriage house and enjoyed the spaciousness of the room. It was cozy and had a fireplace with a big jacuzzi tub right next to it, to make it even more romantic. I like the private entrance as not to bother the other guest. Very quaint neighborhood and not to far from the downtown shopping stores. Love the breakfast card at the Lowell's Inn their breakfast was absolutely amazing. Would diffently go back and try thier other dining options.

Check in and out was very easy. We loved the location and proximity to Main Street. The breakfast at Lowell Inn was a nice excursion and were treated well there (order the Pancakes!). The little treats everywhere were a nice touch. We loved the St. Croix room and would have loved to stay longer. We did not see any owner/ staff at any point but response time was fast. We recommend LoLo and a late outing to the candy shop that is open until 10om.

Celebrating a family 75th birthday. She grew up in Stillwater and loves the beautiful old houses so staying at the Aurora was perfect! The coffee and chocolate just outside the room was very much appreciated too. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was excellent for us, so comfortable. Although I missed having breakfast at the house the certificate for breakfast at the nearby Lowell Inn was a wonderful experience.

Nice jacuzzi tub, dual fireplace, and king size bed. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There was Keurig coffee available in the foyer. We were given a voucher for breakfast at the nearby Lowell Inn. It was fantastic!! Wish we could have spent a couple of days at Aurora!
